[ABSTRAKSkripsi ini meneliti tentang perilaku memilih masyarkat transmigrasi pada Pemilukada Riau 2013. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori perilaku memilih. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Teknik analisis menggunakan uji regresi logistik biner terhadap karakteristik masyarakat transmigran. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa faktor sosiologis, orientasi isu, orientasi program tidak berpengaruh terhadap perilaku memilih masyarakat transmigran. Identifikasi partai berpengaruh terhadap perilaku memilih masyarakat transmigran. Hasil uji regresi logistik biner menemukan hubungan antara pendidikan dan pekerjaan pada kemungkinan memilih Herman-Agus. Uji regresi logistik biner juga menemukan hubungan antara pendidikan, status transmigrasi dan status transmigrasi pasangan pada kemungkinan memilih Annas-Arsyad.

;This thesis discusses the voting behavior of the transmigrant community in Riau

local election 2013. This thesis used the voting behavior theory and a quantitative

method research. The analysis used binary logistic regression to the characteristics

of the transmigrants. This study finds that sociological factors, the issue

orientation, and the program orientation, have no effect on the voting behavior of

transmigrants. Party identification are indicated have effect on voting behavior of

transmigrants. The result of binary logistic regression finds an association

between education and employment on the likelihood of choosing Herman-Agus.

Binary logistic regression also finds a link between education, transmigration

status, and transmigration partner status on the likelihood of choosing Annas-

Arsyad. Thus, this study reinforces the theory that states voting behavior is
