[ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas tentang peran dan strategi dari Komite Aksi Jaminan Sosial (KAJS) sebagai kelompok penekan yang berasal dari masyarakat sipil dalam proses perumusan Rancangan Undang-Undang Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (RUU BPJS) pada Tahun 2010-2011. Dengan metode penelitian kualitatif, penelitian ini berusaha menggambarkan peran dan strategi Komite Aksi Jaminan Sosial untuk mempengaruhi proses pembuatan RUU BPJS. Hasil Analisis memperlihatkan bahwa KAJS yang berperan sebagai pendukung Jaminan Sosial di Indonesia, berhasil mempengaruhi Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) dengan tiga strategi KAJS yaitu "Konsep, Lobi, Aksi". Studi ini berkesimpulan bahwa dengan tiga strategi, KAJS, sebuah kelompok masyarakat dapat masuk menjadi bagian dari perumusan sebuah kebijakan di DPR dan mempengaruhinya dengan bekerja sama dengan anggota DPR.

Action or KAJS as a pressure group from civil society in the formulation of Social

Security Agency Law (BPJS Bill) in the year 2010-2011. Using qualitative
