[Penelitian ini membahas penokohan dalam novel dan film Madangeul Naon
Amtak, yang berkisah tentang seekor ayam petelur yang ingin mengerami dan
menetaskan telurnya sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memaparkan perubahan
yang terjadi pada unsur penokohan yang timbul akibat proses ekranisasi. Metode
penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif-analitis dengan kajian struktural. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan perubahan terjadi terutama pada penokohan tokoh utama
dan tokoh tambahan yang menjelaskan latar. Perubahan tersebut mendorong
adanya perbedaan pesan yang ingin disampaikan oleh sutradara film dengan pesan
pengarang novelnya.;This research discusses characterization in Madangeul Naon Amtak novel and
film, which tell about a hen that wants to brood on its own eggs. The objective of
this research is to explain the changes happened in characterization as a result of
écran. The method applied is descriptive-analytic with structural study. The
results show that changes happened mainly in characterization of main character
and pheripheral characters which explain the settings. The changes lead to the
