Skripsi ini membahas tentang literasi informasi jurnalis majalah yaitu jurnalis LAIQA Magazine Tujuannya adalah untuk mengidentifikasi literasi informasi jurnalis LAIQA Magazine dalam produksi berita Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus dan dengan desain deskriptif Adapun pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan literasi informasi yang dilakukan jurnalis LAIQA Magazine sesuai dengan komponen komponen yang ada dalam konsep model literasi informasi the Seven Pillars karena sifatnya yang fleksibel sehingga dapat berlangsung secara simultan atau tidak linear Penelitian ini menyarankan kepara jurnalis LAIQA Magazine untuk memanfaatkan fasilitas perpustakaan baik tercetak maupun digital serta memanfaatkan bantuan pustakawan meminimalkan penggunaan Wikipedia lalu memanfaatkan penggunaan cloud storage dan perangkat penyimpanan khusus untuk data yang diperoleh.

This thesis will explore the information literacy of magazine journalist particularly the journalists of LAIQA Magazine The purpose of this study is to identify the information literacy of LAIQA Magazine journalists in news production This qualitative study using case study method and descriptive design Furthermore the technique used informant selection is the purposive sampling technique Based on the results the study shows that the information literacy done by LAIQA Magazine journalists have component that are consistent to the one of the information literacy model known as The Seven Pillars due to its flexibility The results of the study suggests that the LAIQA rsquo s journalists should use both printed and digital library facilities in addition to that this method also uses the help of librarian And also minimise the use of unreliable sources such as Wikipedia Furthermore LAIQA Magazine rsquo s journalists should also make use of a special data saving tools such as cloud storage to save the collected data.
