ABSTRAKPelaksanaan uji kompetensi program diploma kebidanan dilaksanakan untuk
mengukur sejauh mana kualitas lulusan dalam memiliki pengetahuan,
keterampilan dan sikap professional sebelum menjalankan tugas dalam
memberikan pelayanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui tentang faktorfaktor
yang berhubungan dengan nilai uji kompetensi menurut akreditasi, status
kepemilikan dan wilayah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan
kualitatif. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata nilai uji kompetensi
berdasarkan akreditasi dan wilayah. Disarankan pula agar adanya penyelasaran
substansi uji dengan kurikulum, perlunya persamaan garis besar kurikulum di
setiap institusi pendidikan mengingat di beberapa institusi yang menggunakan
kurikulum berbasis kompetensi (KBK) akan lebih unggul dalam kompetensi
praktek (knows how, show how) sedangkan di institusi yang menggunakan
kurikulum konvensional justru sebaliknya, serta pengendalian mutu terhadap
institusi agar dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas.
ABSTRACTThe competencies examination of vocational midwifery major is made to
determine how good is the quality of the graduates of the vocational midwifery?s
knowledges, skills and professional attitudes before they conduct their duty in
providing healthcare services. This research seeks to find factors related to score
from competenceis examination based on the acreditation status, the ownership
and the location of the midwifery academy. This research uses quantitative and
qualitative approach. The result shows that there is difference in the average score
from the competencies examination based on the accreditation and location of the
academy. It is sugested that a hamonization in the substance of the examination
curricullum is a must, a standard curricullum in every academy is required, since
some academy using competencies based curicullum is better in practice (knows
how and shows how) compared to the academy using conventional curicullum, so
