ABSTRAKStudi ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh keterlibatan suami terhadap
pemanfaatan penolong persalinan tenaga kesehatan menggunakan data 6.425
wanita usia subur berusia 15-49 tahun yang menikah/hidup bersama dan
mempunyai anak yang lahir terakhir dalam masa survei SDKI 2012. Hasil regresi
logistik biner menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan suami memiliki pengaruh
signifikan terhadap pemanfaatan penolong persalinan tenaga kesehatan.
Ditemukan pula bahwa faktor-faktor terkuat yang mempengaruhi pemanfaatan
penolong persalinan tenaga kesehatan adalah tempat tinggal, pendidikan suami,
dan kehadiran suami saat antenatal care. Salah satu variabel yang menunjukkan
akses, yaitu jarak ke fasilitas kesehatan, juga memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan
terhadap pemanfaatan penolong persalinan.
ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the influence of husband's involvement on skilled birth
attendants? (SBA) utilization using the data of 6,425 married/cohabiting women at
reproductive age from IDHS 2012. The results of binary logistic regression show
that the involvement of husbands have significant influence on the SBA?s
utilization. It is also found that the strongest factors influencing the utilization of
SBA are residence, husband?s education, and the presence of husband during
antenatal care. One variable that indicates access, which is the distance to health
