Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Tenaga Pendamping padaProgram PUMP-PB tahun 2012 di Kabupaten Bogor. Penelitian ini adalahpenelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Penelitian ini juga untukmengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektifitas pelaksanaan peranTenaga Pendamping. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian lapangan melalui wawancaramendalam dan observasi, diketahui bahwa Tenaga Pendamping melaksanakanseluruh peran yang dikemukakan Ife, namun belum optimal. Kapasitas TenagaPendamping merupakan permasalahan utama yang harus diselesaikan.Pembentukan kemandirian masyarakat sebagai tujuan program pemberdayaanbelum tercapai.

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine the roles of outreach workers on PUMP-PBProgram year 2012 in the District of Bogor. The research is a qualitativedescriptive design. The research is also to determine the factors that influences theeffectiveness of outreach workers roles. Based on the results of the researchthrough in-depth interviews and observations, its known that outreach workershave been performed all the roles mentioned by Ife, but it?s implementation arenot optimal.
