Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) di Direktorat Bina Produksi dan Distribusi Alat Kesehatan bertujuan agar mahasiswa memahami secara umum struktur organisasi Kementerian Kesehatan dan Direktorat Jenderal Bina Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia dengan spesifikasi pada Direktorat Bina Produksi dan Distribusi Alat Kesehatan, mengamati dan memahami pencapaian pelaksanaan tugas dan peran Direktorat Bina Produksi dan Distribusi Alat Kesehatan, dan memperoleh wawasan dan pengetahuan mengenai peranan apoteker dalam bidang pelayanan kefarmasian khususnya dalam bidang produksi dan distribusi alat kesehatan dan perbekalan kesehatan rumah tangga. Tugas khusus yang diberikan dengan judul Studi Kegiatan Sampling, Monitoring, dan Evaluasi Pada Sub Direktorat Inspeksi Alat Kesehatan dan Perbekalan Kesehatan Rumah Tangga (PKRT) bertujuan untuk mengetahui kegiatan sampling, monitoring dan evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh Sub Direktorat inspeksi alat kesehatan dan PKRT serta untuk mengetahui kendala yang terjadi dan solusi terkait dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan sampling, monitoring dan evaluasi oleh Sub Direktorat inspeksi alat kesehatan dan PKRT.
