Direktorat Jenderal Pajak dalam melakukan fungsi penghimpunan keuangannegara membutuhkan ketersedian data yang cepat dan akurat. Untuk menjalankanfungsi pengolahan data dan dokumen perpajakan, maka dibentuklah PusatPengolahan Data dan Dokumen Perpajakan (PPDDP). Dalam menjalankan fungsipengolahan, PPDDP memanfaatkan Teknologi Informasi pada setiap prosesbisnisnya. Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, sistem informasi pendukung yangada semakin lambat dan tidak dapat memenuhi perkembangan proses bisnis saatini. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan permasalahan dalam pengawasan proses danproduksi pengolahan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkanperancangan sistem informasi pendukung baru yang dapat memenuhi prosesbisnis yang ada. Dalam penilitian ini dilakukan perancangan Requirements sisteminformasi yang memenuhi kebutuhan pengolahan yang ada saat ini. Perancanganini menggunakan metode Rational Unified Process, dimana perancanganmengikuti workflow requirements dan dilakukan secara iteratif. Hasil penelitianberupa dokumen Requirement Artefact Set yang menjabarkan secara rincikebutuhan dari sistem informasi pengolahan.

Directorate General of Taxes in performing the functions of state financialaccumulation requires the availability of data that quickly and accurately . Toperform the function of data processing and tax documents, hence formed DataProcessing and Document of Taxation Center (PPDDP).
