[Osteomielitis kronis adalah infeksi berat yang dapat terbatas pada satu bagian
tulang atau dapat melibatkan beberapa daerah, seperti sumsum, korteks,
periosteum, dan jaringan lunak sekitarnya yang membutuhkan perawatan segera.
Osteomielitis kronis membutuhkan pengobatan dan perawatan dalam waktu lama
sehingga menimbulkan masalah fisik dan psikologis, seperti masalah personal
klien, keluarga dan ekonomi. Laporan ini merupakan hasil analisis kegiatan
praktik residensi dengan memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien yang
mengalami gangguan muskuloskeletal; osteomielitis dengan pendekatan model
adaptasi Roy. Hasil penerapan evidence based nursing practice menunjukkan
bahwa masase tangan efektif menurunkan kecemasan pada pasien preoperatif
bedah ortopedi. Sedangkan hasil kegiatan inovasi keperawatan tentang edukasi
terstruktur dan discharge planning dapat menurunkan kecemasan pasien
preoperative bedah ortopedi dan meningkatkan kepatuhan pasien dalam perawatan
di rumah sakit. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa asuhan keperawatan pada pasien
gangguan muskuloskeletal dengan pendekatan model adaptasi Roy, teknik
relaksasi dengan masase tangan, edukasi terstruktur, dan discharge planning
efektif dalam upaya mengatasi masalah pasien gangguan system muskuloskeletal
agar dapat mencapai respon yang adaptif., Chronic osteomyelitis is a severe infection that can be limited to one part of the
