[Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi saat ini, kalangan pendidikan mulai memanfaatkan penerapan teknologi informasi contohnya seperti penerapan sistem informasi akademik di Politeknik Negeri Media Kreatif. Mengingat adanya beberapa permasalahan yang terjadi dalam penerapan sistem informasi akademik di Polimedia antara lain jumlah aktifitas login pengguna terhadap sistem yang masih sangat rendah yaitu sebesar 11%, sistem informasi akademik masih sering mengalami down pada saat sistem tersebut sedang digunakan dan melakukan banyak aktivitas, serta kurang serasi antara hasil yang terdapat pada sistem dengan kenyataan yang ada dilapangan, maka dibutuhkan suatu penilaian dan pengecekan apakah sistem informasi akademik tersebut sudah berjalan sesuai dengan fungsinya. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) untuk menguji hipotesis-hipotesis yang diajukan dengan bantuan tools SmartPLS. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang didapat dari penyebaran kuisioner kepada 200 responden. Penelitian ini pun menggunakan kerangka pemikiran yang diambil dari model yang diusulkan oleh DeLone dan McLean serta penambahan beberapa variabel dari model UTAUT, yang berguna untuk mengetahui variabel-variabel apa saja yang menentukan kesuksesan suatu sistem informasi. Dengan adanya penelitian ini, diharapkan organisasi dapat mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi penerapan sitem informasi akademik sehingga dapat dilakukan perbaikan. Hasil akhir penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penerapan sistem informasi akademik terdiri dari tiga faktor yaitu kualitas sistem, kualitas layanan, dan juga pengaruh sosial yang ada di Polimedia.

Concomitant with the growth of Information System nowdays, our educational institution is trying to absorb the implementation of this current technology into the latest academic system which being applied in Politeknik Negeri Media Kreatif. Considering the issue which often occurred in Polimedia academic information system implementation phase that creates a low key percentage of user actvity login system who takes only 11%, academic information system is often getting down when its system activity is being actively used during peak hour. Since there is an unharmonious lack of the result from system with the actual fact on the site, it needs an objective assessment and examination about the current academic information system whether that system already works functionally based on its purpose. In conducting this research, researchers used a method of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis with using SmartPLS tool. In this study using primary data obtained from questionnaires to 200 respondents. This reaserch also uses some model approach of the experts that the model proposed by DeLone and McLean, as well as the addition of several variables of UTAUT. This model is use to know what are the variables that determine the success of an information system.Given this research, the organization is expected to determine the factors that influence the application of academic information system so that it can be repaired.
