[ABSTRAKSkripsi ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh program restrukturisasi mesin terhadap penggunaan teknologi yang di proxy dengan jumlah penggunaan listrik efisiensi produktivitas dan daya saing yang di proxy dengan ekspor Penelitian ini juga mengukur daya saing industri TPT dengan menggunakan NEI Net Export Index Penulis menggunakan data sampel sebanyak 50 observasi yang terdiri dari lima sub sektor industri TPT selama 10 tahun 2002 2011 dan data ekspor impor industri TPT 2002 2011 Dengan menggunakan estimasi data panel ditemukan bahwa program restrukturisasi mesin industri TPT berpengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap efisiensi dan produktivitas serta terbukti menghemat penggunaan listrik Namun program tersebut tidak terbukti mampu meningkatkan daya saing. Berdasarkan perhitungan NEI ditemukan pula bahwa daya saing industri TPT setelah ada program justru menurun.
