[ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas mengenai Siaran Oporayam yang dibawakan oleh Bagito dalam Radio Suara Kejayaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah dimana rekaman siaran Oporayam, yang merupakan sumber utama, dikaitkan dengan situasi pada zaman itu. Terbelenggunya perkembangan radio pada pemerintahan Orde Baru memunculkan banyak acara kreatif dalam Radio Swasta, salah satunya adalah acara Oporayam yang berbentuk lawak. Dalam penyajiannya, Oporayam sering mengangkat permasalahan sekitar, yang merupakan dampak dari kebijakan pemerintah Orde Baru, sebagai materi acara. Berkat itu, Bagito, selaku pengisi acara Oporayam, terkenal karena lawakan kritiknya. Dimulai tahun 1984, Oporayam berhasil menarik banyak pendengar sehingga menimbulkan beberapa perubahan. Setelah 8 tahun bersiaran, Bagito meninggalkan Radio Suara Kejayaan sebagai tempatnya dalam berkarir.
