ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kapasitas yang terdapat dalam gergaji mesin dan alat berat dengan menggunakan CAM-I capacity model.CAM-I capacity model merupakan pendekatan yang focus terhadap bagaimana mengelola kapasitas yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT SIS terhadap kegiatan departemen harvesting dan departemen road construction yang menggunakan gergaji mesin dan alat berats eperti excavator bucket, forwader, excavator rotating grapple, flatdeck, tractor, buldozer, dumptruck, motor grader, dan compactor. Penelitian ini difokuskan kepada rated capacity, productive capacity, nonproductive capacity dan idle capacity untuk mengukur biaya kapasitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar kapasitas gergaji mesin dan alat berat yang ada tidak digunakan secara maksimal.Untu kefisiensi biaya kapasitas pada gergaji mesin dan alat berat perlu dilakukan pengurangan jumlah gergaji mesin dan alat berat.
ABSTRAK Aim of this research is to analyze capacity cost which incur from chain saw and heavy equipment, using CAM-I capacity model. CAM-I capacity modelis an approach which focus upon how to manage company capacity. This research is conducted at PT SIS which using chain saw and heavy equipment such as excavator bucket, forwader, excavator rotating grapple, flatdeck, tractor, buldozer, dumptruck, motor grader, and compactor. This research focus on rated capacity, productive capacity, nonproductive capacity, and idle capacity to measure capacity cost. Result of this research shows most of the chain saw capacity and heavy equipment capacity did not optimally utilized. Reducing capacity cost of chain saw and heavy equipment is by reducing the quantity of chain saw and heavy equipment.
