ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pemetaan terhadap
aktivitas utama dari rantai nilai bandara yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan
Low Cost Carrier (LCC). Bandara sebagai penyedia jasa kepada LCC
mendapatkan tekanan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumennya tersebut.
Kebutuhan-kebutuhan LCC atas bandara didasarkan pada penelitian
terlebih dahulu dan interview yang dilakukan oleh penulis kepada Low
Cost Carrier. Kebutuhan tersebut yaitu tarif yang lebih rendah, waktu turn
around pesawat yang singkat, slot waktu yang nyaman, bangunan yang
sederhana, proses check-in yang cepat, katering dan pertokoan yang baik,
tidak ada business/ executive lounge, potensi permintaan yang tinggi atas
LCC serta fasilitas transportasi darat yang baik.
Studi dilakukan di Bandara Internasional Ngurah Rai Bali. Metode
yang digunakan pada studi ini adalah metode kualitatif. Responden
penelitian ini adalah manajer perusahaan LCC dan manajer PT Angkasa
Pura I (Persero). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh aktivitas
utama pada rantai nilai bandara mempunyai kontribusi terhadap
operasional LCC. Bandara perlu menyesuaikan rantai nilainya dalam
rangka memenuhi kebutuhan LCC.
ABSTRACTThis study aimed at to map the primary activities of the airport value
chain that can meet the needs of the airport Low Cost Carrier (LCC). As a
service provider to the LCC, airport is under pressure to meet the needs of
its customers. LCC requirement on the airport is based on prior research
and interview conducted by the author to the LCC. The requirements are
lower tariff rate, short turn around time, convenient time slot, simple
building, quick check-in process, good catering and shops, no business /
executive lounge, high demand potential for LCC and good land
transportation facilities.
The study was conducted at Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali.
The method used in this study is a qualitative method. The respondents of
this study are the manager of the company LCC and manager of PT
Angkasa Pura I (Persero). The results showed that all primary activities in
the value chain of airport operations have contributed to the LCC. Airports
need to adjust the value chain in order to meet the needs of the LCC
