 Abstrak

[ABSTRAK
Tesis ini membahas tentang ideologi yang terbentuk di balik penulisan kembali
sejarah dunia dalam anime ?Hetalia Axis Powers? karya Hidekazu Himaruya. Teori
yang digunakan adalah teori Semiotika Barthes dengan didukung teori Representasi
Hall dan Oposisi Biner, serta teknik sinematografis. Di balik penggambaran
kembali sejarah dunia dalam ?Hetalia Axis Powers? adalah ideologi superioritas
bangsa Jepang, penonjolan keunikan bangsa Jepang (nihonjinron), identitas bangsa,
dan adanya kecenderungan dukungan terhadap wacana normalisasi militer Jepang.

ABSTRACT
This thesis analyses the ideology behind the re-writing of world history in anime
?Hetalia Axis Powers? by Hidekazu Himaruya. The theories which used are Hall?s
Representation, Barthes? Semiotic, Binary Opposition, and cinematography
technique. Behind the re-writing of world history in ?Hetalia Axis Powers? are
Japanese superiority ideology, emphasis on Japanese uniqueness, nation identity,
and a tendency to support Japan?s military normalization plan.;This thesis analyses the ideology behind the re-writing of world history in anime
