Puisi merupakan salah satu media penyampaian ungkapan perasaan penyair dengan bahasa yang indah dan padat. Makna yang terdapat dalam suatu puisi dapat diungkapkan melalui penggunaan kata, frasa, dan kalimat serta gaya bahasa. Paper ini membahas makna dan penggunaan gaya bahasa dalam puisi Heilloze Wandeling karya Jan Campert. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis makna dan gaya bahasa yang terdapat dalam puisi Heilloze Wandeling.Analisis makna pada paper ini didasarkan pada pembagian makna secara konotatif dan denotatif, sementara analisis gaya bahasanya dilakukan berdasarkan 7 kelompok besar gaya bahasa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat penggunaan 2 gaya bahasa yang dominan yaitu gaya bahasa asonansi, hiperbola dan terdapatnya penggunaan makna denotatif dan konotatif secara sporadis yang membuat puisi ini terasa hidup, menarik dan bermakna dalam dilihat dari segi bahasa dan maknanya.

ABSTRACT
Poetry is one of the media that delivers the feelings of the poet using the beauty of language and its deep meanings. The meaning of poetry can be brought to the reader?s attention by using words, phrases, sentences and figure of speeches. By using the qualitative descriptive approach, this paper tends to identify the meanings and the use of figure of speeches in the poem Heilloze Wandeling written by Jan Campert.This study is based on the two meanings namely the denotative- and connotative meanings and also the 7 categories of figure of speeches. The study shows that assonance and hyperbole are the two most commonly used figure of speeches in the poem and that the denotative- and connotative meanings are used sporadically in every couplet throughout the poem.
