Artikel ini membahas pemilu parlemen Eropa di Prancis tahun 2014. Front National (FN) yangmerupakan salah satu partai eurosceptic Prancis berhasil meraih kemenangan dengan perolehan 24,86% suara.Front National merupakan partai ekstrem kanan yang berpedoman pada hard euroscepticism (menentang kerasUni Eropa). Hasil ini bertentangan dengan hasil pemilu di tahun-tahun sebelumnya yang didominasi oleh partaipartaipenganut soft euroscepticism dan tidak sepenuhnya menentang Uni Eropa (UE). Penelitian ini membahasfaktor penyebab kemenangan FN dalam pemilu Eropa di Prancis tahun 2014. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkanbahwa kemenangan FN terjadi karena ketidakpuasaan masyarakat Prancis terhadap UE. Hal ini terjadi karenapasca bergabung dengan UE, kondisi dalam negeri Prancis memburuk. UE yang didirikan atas dasar kepentinganekonomi, hukum, dan politik justru menimbulkan masalah baru seperti krisis ekonomi, imigrasi yang masif,melemahnya otoritas nasional. Ideologi dan kampanye FN yang sejalan dengan pendapat mayoritas mengenaiisu-isu di Prancis ini telah mengantarkan FN pada puncak kemenangan pemilu Eropa 2014.

ABSTRACTThis article discusses European Parliament election in France 2014. Front National (FN) which is one

of the french eurosceptic party gained victory with the acquisition of 24, 86% of the votes in 2014. Front

National is a far-right party based in hard euroscepticism which strongly opposes the European Union. This

contrary to the earlier results in France which is dominated by soft euroscepticism parties ( not completly

opposed to the EU). This research discusses factors which caused the victory of FN in the European election in

France 2014. The result of this study shows that FN victory is caused by the French dissatisfaction toward EU.

After joining EU, french condition became worse. EU founded and based on economical, law, and political

benefits raises new problems such as economic crisis, massive immigration, weakening of national authority.
