[ ABSTRAK
Artikel ini membahas mengenai Perjanjian Schengen dan Maastricht. Perjanjian ini pada awalnyahanya bekerjasama di bidang ekonomi. Namun, setelah kerjasama ekonomi berkembang, negara-negara anggotaingin memperluas kerjasama di bidang politik, budaya, pendidikan, hukum, dan lain-lain. Perluasan kerjasamaini dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan rasa persatuan dan kesatuan antar negara-negara Eropa sehingga dapatmewujudkan integrasi Eropa yang kuat. Perjanjian Schengen dan Perjanjian Maastricht merupakan langkahlangkahke kesatuan Eropa yang utuh. Kedua perjanjian ini menghasilkan berbagai keputusan di bidang politikdan ekonomi yang semakin meningkatkan kerjasama antar negara Eropa.

ABSTRACT

This article discusses the Schengen and Maastricht Treaty. This treaty was originally only in the field

of economic cooperation. However, after developing economic cooperation, the member states want to expand

cooperation in the fields of politics, culture, education, law, and etc. Expansion of cooperation is intended to

increase the sense of unity amongst European countries so as to realize a strong European integration. Schengen

and the Maastricht Treaty are the steps to European unity intact. Both of these treaty resulted in numerous
