Kebijakan BLSM merupakan kebijakan bantuan langsung kepada masyarakat yang terkena dampak kenaikan BBM tahun 2013 Kebijakan tersebut sudah tidak efektif lagi di Indonesia karena data yang digunakan oleh pemerintah ialah data Badan Pusat Statistik BPS tahun 2013 Selain itu kebijakan BLSM ini sifatnya ialah cash money transfer yang rentan akan money politics Pada tahun 2008 tepat sebelum pemilu tahun 2009 pemerintah juga melakukan kebijakan yang serupa bernama Bantuan Langsung Tunai BLT pada tahun 2009 partai Demokrat berhasil mengambil perhatian masyarakat lewat kebijakan BLT pada tahun 2013 ini partai demokrat ingin mencoba merebut kemenangan lagi Adanya pengaruh nilai nilai politik sosial dan pribadi mempengaruhi aktor aktor yang terlibat di dalam kebijakan BLSM ABSTRACT
