Three dimesnions urban energy balance model has been successfully combined with the vegetation model to observe the effect of the presence of vegetation in urban areas. The calculation found that the increase in vegetation ratio of urban area by 20% will lower sensible heat of 20-60 Watt/m2 although the increase in humidity also occurs as a result of the transpiration process. The increase of vegetation ratio also reduces storage heat. This lead to reduce the heat emission from the urban skin especially in the afternoon as well as reduce the effects of heat trapped in urban areas. The second turn, this phenomenon will reduce urban heat island (UHI).
