Decline in potato production and farmers’ income is not just because of the entry of imported potatoes, but also because less concern to develop potato production. The problem here is: (a) lack of capital to meet the cost of production (b) marketing system controlled by the traders and merchants among the regions that make up the cartel, and (c) Lack of institutional support system agribusiness infrastructure especially potatoes. Potato agribusiness develop potential is still very good because of the cooperative work on the principle of mutual aid and family members for the members. The role can be performed by the cooperative in terms of: (a) provision of production; (b) Capital, cooperatives have the potential to develop social capital so that lending to members does not require collateral; (c) provision of market. For this activity partially cooperative has had a warehouses means, Silo, cool storage and stall and never do the some job with the State Logistics Agency (Bulog).
