This study was conducted to generate institutional and financing models for the cooperative to build a palm oil processing plant, so that the added value of processing TBS can be taken by farmers. Studies conducted by the feasibility study methodology and FGD (Focus Group Discussion). Study location in south Sumatra province to focus on cooperative study and oil palm farmers. The scope of activities include institutional forms of cooperative, production activities, and financing sources both internal and external. This study yielded three institutional models to manage the plant is built, namely: Business unit cooperative, autonomous business unit, and independent company. Financing models that can be used by the cooperative to build a plant consist of internal financing sources derived from: cooperative, margin TBS-CPO, and transportation, while external financing is from sources: bank lending and capital investment. Each model of the institutional for managing the plant can take advantage of all sources of financing, both internal and external.
