Skripsi ini membahas tentang adanya dugaan praktek persaingan usaha tidak sehat yaitu adanya praktek penetapan tarif yang sangat rendah yang dilakukan oleh Perusahaan Taksi Uber yang beroperasi di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Taksi Uber muncul sebagai pelopor taksi berbasis teknologi aplikasi yang menawarkan kemudahan bagi konsumen untuk menggunakan jasa layanan angkutan taksi tersebut. Konsumen dapat mengunduh aplikasi taksi Uber melalui smartphone dan dapat digunakan untuk memanggil taksi Uber dengan mudah dan cepat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian yang menggunakan metode yuridis normatif. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa Perusahaan Uber telah melakukan praktek penetapan tarif yang sangat rendah sehingga menimbulkan adanya persaingan tidak sehat.

The focus in this thesis is about the alleged of unfair competition practices which is the practice due to the determination of the very low fare that done by Uber Taxi Company which operates in DKI Jakarta. Uber Taxi emerged as a pioneer of technology-based application that offers convenience for the customer to use the services of the taxi transport services. Customers can download the application through smartphone and can be used to hail a Uber taxi easily and quickly. This is a research study using normative juridical method. Results of this study is that the Uber Taxi Company has been proven to have a very low fare cost which led to the practice of unfair competition.
