[Skripsi ini membahas peran dari program Systematic Voters Education andElectoral Participation (SVEEP) dalam peningkatan partisipasi pemilihperempuan di India periode tahun 2009-2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodekualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori partisipasi politik serta konseppemberdayaan perempuan. Program SVEEP yang dibentuk dan diaplikasikanpada tahun 2009, baik di tingkat lokal maupun nasional berkontribusi dalampeningkatan partisipasi pemilih perempuan yang selama ini terhalang olehhambatan kultural dan struktural. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah programSVEEP yang dikeluarkan oleh Election Commission of India serta pendidikanpolitik yang yang dilakukan melalui Anganwadi Workers (AWW) menjadikanperempuan semakin berdaya dan memiliki kontrol atas suaranya.;This undergraduated thesis examines the role of Systematic Voters Education andElectoral Participation (SVEEP) program in increasing women votersparticipation in India 2009-2014.
