Menurunnya kualitas pelayanan bukan hanya karena faktor mutu tenaga, tetapi dapat juga karena tingginya beban kerja yang berakibat perawat menjadi letih secara fisik dan mental sehingga terjadi burnout. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara faktor demografik, faktor personal dan faktor organisasi terhadap burnout perawat pelaksana di unit rawat inap RSJ Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kuantitatif potong lintang menggunakan instrumen MBI (Maslach Burnout Inventory). Sampel yang diambil adalah total sampling berjumlah 122 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa burnout perawat pelaksana dalam kategori rendah sebesar 82,8% dan kategori sedang sebesar 17,2% serta variabel yang paling dominan dengan burnout adalah variabel beban kerja.

Beside the improper quality of personnel, the decline of hospital quality may be caused by the high workload which resulting to nurses physical and mental exhaustion, which lead to burnout.

The study aims to determine the relationship between demographic factors, personal factors and organizational factors toward burnout of nurses in the inpatient unit RSJ West Kalimantan Province.

It is a quantitative study with cross-sectional approach using MBI (Maslach Burnout Inventory) instrument. Samples are the total population amounted to 122 nurses.

The results showed that 82.8% are nurses with low category of burnout while 17.2% in middle category of burnout. The most dominant variables related to burnout is the workload of nurses.
