[Penelitian dilakukan pada proses kerja industri informal menengah ke
bawah di sentra pembuatan krupuk Desa Kenanga Kecamatan Sindang Kabupaten
Indramayu, karena pada tahapan proses produksinya masih dominan
menggunakan kegiatan manual handling. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu
menjelaskan tingkat risiko untuk dapat terjadinya masalah Musculouskeletal
Symptoms (MSS) pada aktivitas pembuatan krupuk dibagian produksi dan
memberikan masukan modifikasi atau rekayasa alat pada sarana kerja yang
teridentifikasi menyebabkan pekerja melakukan postur yang berisiko sangat
tinggi. Penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional dengan metode
REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment ) untuk menilai terkait postur janggal,
beban kerja, frekuensi dan durasi pekerjaan. Terdapat lima tahapan terkait
aktivitas fisik pembuatan krupuk di bagian produksi, yaitu tahap 1.Pembuatan
adonan, 2. Penggilingan adonan, 3.Pencetakan adonan, 4.Persiapan pemasakan
dan 5.Pendinginan hasil pemasakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebagian
besar tahapan memiliki tingkat risiko tinggi, kecuali pada aktivitas penggilingan
adonan, dan tingkat risiko rendah terdapat pada aktivitas pencetakan adonan. Oleh
karena itu perlu dilakukan perbaikan secepatnya untuk meminimalisir aktivitas
fisik yang mempunyai tingkat risiko tinggi sampai sangat tinggi, salah satunya
