[ABSTRAK Cerita pendek berjudul das Brot adalah salah satu karya sastra Jerman yang ditulis oleh Wolfgang Borchert pada tahun 1946. Cerita pendek ini mengisahkan interaksi antara sepasang suami istri di Jerman dalam situasi pasca Perang Dunia II. Meskipun tidak mengulas situasi perang secara khusus dan eksplisit, cerita pendek ini merepresentasikan keadaan yang dialami oleh masyarakat Jerman pada saat itu. Melalui karya ini Borchert menggambarkan implikasi Perang Dunia II bagi kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat Jerman. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra, analisis terhadap cerita pendek ini memperlihatkan pengaruh Perang Dunia II bagi masyarakat Jerman, khususnya dalam aspek hubungan interpersonal.ABSTRACT The short story ''das Brot'' is written by Wolfgang Borchert in 1946.
