[ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini membahas tentang nilai-nilai naturalisme yang diimplementasikan pada motif kimono Jepang dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran bagaimana hubungan kedekatan orang Jepang dengan alam yang diimplementasikan melalui motif kimono. Rasa cinta orang Jepang yang sangat besar terhadap alam, tidak lepas dari sisi religiositas mereka yang meyakini bahwa tidak ada satu tempat pun yang tidak dihuni oleh dewa, sehingga bentuk apresiasi terhadap alam mereka aplikasikan di dalam segala lini kehidupan, termasuk pengaplikasian lukisan alam yang terdapat pada motif kimono. Teori Nakamura Hajime digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebagai dasar pemahaman tentang konsep naturalisme. Dari hasil kajian ini diperoleh suatu kesimpulan bahwa kedekatan orang Jepang dengan alam tercermin dalam seluruh aspek kehidupan mereka. Pernyataan ini didasari dari pemikiran orang Jepang yang menganggap bahwa terdapat suatu kekuatan supranatural di alam karena mereka menganggap segala sesuatu yang ada di dunia ini, termasuk alam adalah perwujudan dari Budha ABSTRACTThis study discusses the values of naturalism which has been implemented within kimono patterns using the method of descriptive analysis. The purpose of this study is to show the closeness of Japanese people towards nature which has been implemented through kimono patterns. The passion of nature that is shown through Japanese people, are also attached to the spiritual side where they believe that there are no places in this world are not owned by God, therefore their form of appreciation towards nature are shown through their daily life, also including the application of nature through art that is shown in kimono patterns. This study uses Nakamura Hajime?s theory as a basic understanding of the naturalism concept. From this study, drawning out a conclusion that the closeness of Japanese people towards nature are reflected through their daily life. This statement is based on the idea of the assumption that Japanese people have made where there is a supernatural power in nature because they consider everything that has existed in this world is the personification of Buddha.;This study discusses the values of naturalism which has been implemented within kimono patterns using the method of descriptive analysis.
