[ABSTRAK Enchaînement dan liaison adalah keunikan bunyi bahasa Prancis yang tidak terdapat dalam Bahasa Indonesia sehingga memungkinkan terjadinya interferensi ketika pemelajar Indonesia memelajari bahasa Prancis. Artikel berjudul Kesalahan Pelafalan Enchaînement dan Liaison pada Mahasiswa Program Studi Prancis FIB UI Semester Satu dan Semester Tiga ini membahas kemampuan mahasiswa Program Studi Prancis FIB UI tingkat dasar dalam mengidentifikasi dan melafalkan enchaînement dan liaison. Kemampuan tersebut dilihat melalui sebuah penelitian dengan metode kualitatif terhadap 60 mahasiswa Program Studi Prancis FIB UI semester satu dan semester tiga. Hasilnya, sebagian besar mahasiswa tidak memahami aturan pelafalan enchaînement dan liaison, terutama enchaînement vocalique.ABSTRACT Enchaînement and liaison are the unique of sounds in French which do not exist in Indonesian that are able to cause the interference when the Indonesian students learn French.
