Hipertensi merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan perkotaan yang terjadi padausia dewasa. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh perubahan gaya hidup masyarakatperkotaan. Individu yang sering mengalami stress dan ketegangan pikiran yangberlarut-larut akan berisiko untuk mengalami hipertensi. Di Kelurahan SukamajuBaru ditemukan keluarga dengan dewasa yang menderita hipertensi karenamengalami stress. Diagnosis keperawatan yang ditegakkan adalahketidakefektifan manajemen kesehatan: hipertensi. Intervensi keperawatan yangdiberikan adalah manajemen stres: hipnosis lima jari pada penderita hipertensi.Hasil intervensi menunjukkan bahwa manajemen stres: hipnosis lima jari berhasilmengurangi stress, memberikan kenyamanan, dan ketenangan sehingga dapatmenurunkan tekanan darah. Perawatan tersebut diharapkan dapat membantukeluarga dalam melakukan perawatan mandiri pada keluarga dengan masalahkesehatan hipertensi.ABSTRACT Hypertension is one of the common health problems that occur in adults, as the
