Industri farmasi memiliki peranan penting dalam menjamin dan memperbaikikesehatan masyarakat, menghasilkan obat untuk mengatasi berbagai penyakit,meminimalisasi risiko kesehatan dan menjamin pelayanan kesehatan yangberkesinambungan bagi generasi sekarang maupun generasi mendatang. IndustriFarmasi adalah badan usaha yang memiliki izin dari Menteri Kesehatan untukmelakukan kegiatan pembuatan obat atau bahan obat. Agar obat yang dihasilkanberkualitas, mempunyai efikasi yang baik, bermutu, dan aman serta konsisten makadibutuhkan suatu pedoman bagi industri farmasi dan mampu memenuhi persayaratantentang Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik (CPOB).Apoteker dituntut untuk mempunyai kompetensi, pengalaman, dan keterampilan yangbaik untuk menjamin CPOB dijalankan dengan benar dan tepat. Praktek Kerja ProfesiApoteker (PKPA) dilakukan pada 30 Juni - 29 Agustus 2014 Di PT. Kalbe Farma,Tbk. Kawasan Industri Delta Silicon JL M.H. Thamrin Blok A3-1, Lippo Cikarang,Bekasi Dalam rangka pembinaan terhadap generasi baru di bidang industri farmasi,yaitu tenaga apoteker.
