ASI eksklusif semakin menjadi perhatian masyarakat karena angka cakupannya masih sangat jauh dari target yang diharapkan padahal banyak sekali manfaat yang didapatkan dari pemberian ASI eksklusif, baik bagi ibu, bayi bahkan untuk negara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif 6 bulan di Poliklinik Anak RSUD Al-Ihsan Provinsi Jawa Barat tahun 2015. Penellitian ini menggunakan desain case control yang dilakukan pada bulan November-Desember 2015. Ibu yang memiliki bayi berusia 6-12 bulan dan tercatat sebagai pasien Poliklinik Anak RSUD Al-Ihsan dipilih sebagai populasi studi.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh hasil: faktor predisiposisi yang berhubungan bermakna yaitu pengetahuan (OR=5,0; 95% CI 1,9-13,3) dan sikap (OR=3,1; 95% CI=1,1-8,3), faktor pemungkin yang berhubungan bermakna adalah Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD) (OR=9,21; 95% CI= 3,2-26,3) dan keterpaparan sampel susu formula (OR=5,312; 95% CI= 3,4-8,2), faktor penguat yang berhubungan bermakna adalah dukungan suami (OR=20,9; 95% CI= 6,5-66,2), dukungan sarana dan tenaga kesehatan (OR=15,2; 95% CI= 4,9-47,5), dukungan teman (OR=10,7; 95% CI= 3,5-32,4), dukungan keluarga (OR=10,7; 95% CI= 3,5-32,4), keterpaparan informasi ASI eksklusif (OR=10,5; 95% CI= 3,7-29,4). Perlunya peningkatan pengawasan pelaksanaan 10 langkah menuju keberhasilan menyusui, peningkatan pelayanan klinik laktasi dan pembentukan kelompok pendukung menyusui di masyarakat untuk menyukseskan pemberian ASI eksklusif 6 bulan.
Exclusive breastfeeding is getting the attention of the public because the number coverage is still very far from their intended target when a lot of benefit obtained from exclusive breastfeeding, both for mothers, babies and even for the country. The objectives of this study was to examine the factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months at Children's Hospital Polyclinic Al-Ihsan West Java province in 2015. This research using case control design. This study was conducted in November-December 2015. Mothers with babies 6-12 months old and are listed as patients at Children's Polyclinic of Al-Ihsan Hospital chosen as the study population. Based on the analysis, the result: a significant factor related predisiposisi namely knowledge (OR = 5.0; 95% CI 1.9 to 13.3) and attitudes (OR = 3.1; 95% CI = 1.1 to 8.3), enabling factors related is a significant Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (IMD) (OR = 9.2; 95% CI = 3.2 to 26.3) and keteraparan samples of formula (OR = 5.3; 95% CI = 3.4 to 8.2), as well as reinforcing factors that are significantly associated support husband (OR = 20.9; 95% CI = 6.5 to 66.2), support facilities and health workers (OR = 15.2; 95% CI = 4.9 to 47.5), the support of friends (OR = 10.7; 95% CI = 3.5 to 32.4), family support (OR = 10.7; 95% CI = 3.5 to 32.4), and exposure information of exclusive breastfeeding (OR = 10.5; 95% CI = 3.7 to 29.4). The need to increase supervision of the implementation of the 10 steps to successful breastfeeding, lactation clinic service improvement and the establishment of breastfeeding support groups in the community to improve exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months.
