ABSTRAKKelelahan pada operator ground support equipment dalam kegiatan ground handling pesawat di area ramp berisiko tinggi menyebabkan insiden dan kecelakaan yang dapat menimbulkan kerugian besar terutama bagi maskapai penerbangan, pekerja ground handling dan operasi bandara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya kelelahan pada operator ground support equipment yang menangani pesawat wide body PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif-analitik dengan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling yang berjumlah 80 responden. Data dianalisis dengan uji chi square. Fatigue Severity Scale digunakan sebagai instrumen untuk mengukur kelelahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa umur, waktu commuting dan waktu istirahat secara signifikan berasosiasi terhadap kelelahan pada operator ground support equipment. Faktor individu dalam penelitian ini berperan besar terhadap terjadinya kelelahan sehingga diharapkan pekerja dapat mengelola waktu pribadi dan mengoptimalkan waktu istirahat ketika bekerja untuk mengurangi kelelahan

This research aims to determine the factors that influence fatigue in ground support equipment operators who handle wide body aircraft in PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. This is a descriptive-analytic research with quantitative method. Total sampling method was used in this research with 80 respondents as sample. Data were analyzed by chi square test. The Fatigue Severity Scale used as an instrument for measuring fatigue. The results showed that age, commuting time and rest periods are significantly associated to fatigue on the ground support equipment operators. Individual factors have a big role on fatigue occurrence.
