ABSTRAKRemaja yang rentan terhadap stress harus dapat memanfaatkan waktu luangnya dengan baik untuk dapat mengurangi dampak negatif dari stress tersebut. Salah satu aktivitas yang dapat dilakukan ialah mengisi waktu luang di restoran. Perubahan gaya hidup yang terjadi di masyarakat membuat fungsi restoran tidak lagi hanya menjadi sebuah tempat untuk makan, tetapi juga menjadi salah satu sarana orang untuk melepas lelah dan sebagai salah satu bentuk leisure. Pemilihan lokasi restoran yang akan dikunjungi merupakan sebuah proses yang ditentukan oleh faktor pendorong yang berasal dari diri remaja yaitu motivasi, waktu tempuh dan asal keberangkatan. Ada juga faktor penarik yang berasal dari karakteristik lokasi restoran (site dan situation). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola pemilihan lokasi restoran untuk mengisi waktu luang remaja. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian, metode yang digunakan adalah melakukan analisis spasial dengan metode deskriptif berdasarkan hasil penyebaran kuisioner kepada remaja. Hasil yang diperoleh yakni pola pemilihan lokasi restoran untuk mengisi waktu luang remaja beragam. Berdasarkan motivasinya, remaja dengan motivasi fisik dominan lebih mengutamakan situation dan remaja dengan motivasi sosial dominan lebih mengutamakan site dalam memilih restoran untuk mengisi waktu luang. Berdasarkan waktu tempuhnya, semakin cepat ditempuh lokasi restoran dari asal keberangkatan remaja, maka restoran itu akan semakin banyak dipilih oleh remaja. Berdasarkan asal keberangkatannya, remaja dominan pergi ke restoran dari kost.

ABSTRACT

Youth who are prone to stress should be able to use their leisure time well in order to reduce the negative impact of such stress. One of the activities that can be done is to go to a restaurant. Lifestyle changes that occur in the community make the restaurant function is no longer just be a place to eat, but also be one of the means of people to unwind and as a form of leisure. Selection of the location of the restaurant to be visited is a process that is determined by the driving factor that comes from youth is motivation, travel time and origin of departure. There are also pull factors derived from the characteristics of the destination location (site and situation). This study aims to determine selection pattern of restaurant location for spending youth's leisure time. To achieve the research objectives, the method used is to analyze the spatial analysis with descriptive methods. The results obtained by the pattern of the restaurant selection to fill youth leisure time are variety. Based on the motivation, dominant of youth with physical motivation prefers situation, and youth with social motivation prefer the site to choose the restaurant to spend their leisure time. Based on the travel time, the sooner reached the location of the restaurant from the original departure of youth, then the restaurant will be chosen by the youth. Based on the origin of departure.
