Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensintesis gel acoustic coupling agent USG berbasis karbomer 940 dengan variasi konsentrasi penambahan aloe vera 25%, 40%, dan 55%. Gel hasil sintesis diuji, terdiri dari : organoleptis (warna, bau, dan homogenitas), pH, viskositas, konsistensi, karakteristik ultrasonik, dan pencitraan. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan ANOVA dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penambahan aloe vera pada gel acoustic coupling agent USG berbasis karbomer 940 dapat dibuat menjadi gel USG, dan memiliki kekurangan.

This study aims to synthesize the addition of aloe vera to the concentration variation of 25%, 40%, and 55% compared with gel-based ultrasound acoustic coupling agent carbomer 940. The result of gel?s synthesized tested for the consisting of : organoleptic (color, odor, and homogeneity), pH, viscosity, consistency, characteristics ultrasonic and ultrasonic imaging characteristics. The data were analyzed statisically by ANOVA with 95% level of trust.

The results of this study indicate that the addition of aloe vera into gel-based ultrasound acoustic coupling agent carbomer 940 can be made to be ultrasound gel and disadvantage.
