Frase nominal (FN) memiliki susunan yang terdiri dari induk yang berkelas kata nomina dan pewatas. Namun FN dalam Bahasa Mandarin tidak hanya terdiri dari induk dan pewatas saja, masih perlu ada partikel yang disisipkan di antara induk dan pewatas sehingga membentuk susunan pewatas ? partikel ? induk. Salah satu jenis FN adalah FN yang bersusunan subyek (S) predikat (P). Artikel ini membahas tentang susunan FN yang bersusunan SP dalam Bahasa Mandarin. Hasil penelitian artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa FN bersusunan SP dalam Bahasa Mandarin memiliki susunan SP sebagai pewatas, lalu diikuti oleh partikel 的de, kemudian oleh induk FN. Selain itu, artikel ini juga menunjukkan bahwa kemunculan FN bersusunan SP dapat mengisi fungsi sintaktis yangberagam.

Noun phrases (NP) have a composition consisting of a noun as the head and modifiers. However, NP in Mandarin does not only consist of head and modifiers. It needs a particle to be inserted between the head and modifiers to form the composition of modifier - particle - head. One type of NP is an NP which acquires a structure of subject (S) and predicate (P). This article discusses this type of NP in Mandarin. The result of this research in this article shows that, in Mandarin, the NP with the structure of SP will have a composition consisting of the SP as modifiers, followed by the particle 的de, and then finally by the head of the NP. In addition, this article also shows that the emergence of NP with a structure of SP can fill diverse syntactic function.
