Sasak language, as classified by mahsun, has four dialects namely dialect a-a, dialect a-a. Each dialects consists of some subdialects. Each dialect varies structurally; that is, in term of its phonological system, morphological system and syntactic system. In a formal discussion on standardization of Bahasa sasak held at kantor bahasa Provinsi NTB in 2009, it is agreed that dialect a-a considered to be standard dialect of bahasa sasak. Thus, this study is aimed at describing some possible difficulties of learning bahasa sasak in the level of phonology, morphology and syntax.
