Death sentence is one of some main criminal sentences regulated in article 10 of penal code and President Decree No.2 of 1969 on process of execution of death sentence. Death sentence regulated in Penal code is the hardest compared with other main sentences. But in the draft of National penal code, death sentences is excluded from the group of main sentences, and regulated in a special paragraph as a specific penalty.
