 Abstract

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi continuance participation intention dalam penggunaan social networking sites LinkedIn. Faktor-faktor yang digunakan dalam uji pengaruh tersebut berupa uses and gratifications theory dan social influence processes dimana dari kedua faktor tersebut secara keseluruhan terdapat delapan sub-variabel yang digunakan yakni compliance, internalization, identification, information seeking, self-discovery, maintaining interpersonal interconnectivity, social enhancement, dan entertainment value. Responden dalam penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa yang memiliki serta secara aktif menggunakan LinkedIn. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengolah data dalam penelitian ini adalah multiple regression. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini membuktikan jika hampir semua sub-variabel yang uji mempengaruhi continuance participation intention secara signifikan, sementara hanya ada satu sub-variabel yakni identification yang terdapat dalam social influence processes yang tidak mempengaruhi secara signifikan terhadap continuance participation intention

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to analyze factors that influence continuance participation intention in the use of social networking sites LinkedIn. Factors used in this study consists of uses and gratifications theory and social influence processes which have eight sub-variables used namely compliance, internalization, identification, information seeking, self-discovery, maintaining interpersonal interconnectivity, social enhancement, and entertainment value. Respondents of this study are students who have and actively using LinkedIn. This study uses multiple regression to process the data. The result of this study proves that almost sub-variables are significantly affect continuance participation intention, meanwhile there is only one sub-variable which is identification that not significantly affect continuance participation intention.
