ABSTRAKDewasa ini kinerja para aparatur penyelenggara pelayanan publik
khususnya dalam hal ini kepolisian makin banyak disorot dan menjadi perhatian
publik akibat kinerjanya yang buruk. Sebagai lembaga pengawas eksternal Polri,
Komisi Kepolisian Nasional (Kompolnas) turut berkewajiban untuk mengawasi
dan meningkatkan kinerja dan integritas setiap anggota Polri, sehingga
masyarakat sebagai pihak yang berhak mendapatkan pelayanan dari negara
sebagaimana yang diamanatkan oleh undang-undang dapat terpuaskan demi
terciptanya kesejahteraan bagi seluruh warga negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan
untuk mengetahui peran Kompolnas dalam melaksanakan pengawasan terhadap
kinerja kepolisian dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat dan
bagaimana hubungan Kompolnas dengan Polri.

.Research aims to understand the role of kompolnas in carry out surveillance of
the performance of police during of providing services to the community and what
is the relationship kompolnas with police.
