Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mengeksplorasi strategi pemolisian dalam mencegah konflik tawuran pelajar yang terjadi di wilayah hukum Polresta Yogyakarta. Fenomena konflik tawuran pelajar yang terjadi antar kelompok pelajar usia sekolah ini mengakibatkan munculnya kejahatan tindak pidana yang menimbulkan kerugian materiil, lukaluka hingga kerugian jiwa bagi pelajar itu sendiri. Perilaku tawuran merupakan salah satu perilaku remaja yang menyimpang atau Juvenile Delinquency yang dapat meningkat menjadi kejahatan tindak pidana. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk menganalisis karasteristik dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi konflik tawuran pelajar serta penerapan pemolisian komunitas dalam permasalahan konflik tawuran pelajar oleh Polresta Yogyakarta terhadap SMA Bopkri 2 dan SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta. Karasteristik dan faktorfaktor yang mempengaruhi konflik tawuran pelajar ini dilihat dari sudut mental atau psikologi sosial pelajar, sosiologi pelajar, dan lingkungan masyarakat atau subkultur delinquency serta eskalasi konflik yang terjadi. Hasil penelitian ini, bahwa Polresta Yogyakarta belum sepenuhnya menerapkan pemolisian komunitas di SMA yang sering bermasalah dengan tawuran pelajar, dan diberikan saran kepada Polresta Yogyakarta untuk menerapkan pemolisian komunitas terhadap konflik tawuran pelajar dengan metode SARA.

This research aims to examine and explore policing strategies in the prevention student brawls conflict in the jurisdiction of Polresta Yogyakarta. Student brawls conflict phenomenan that happen among groups of school-age students cause the appearance of evil criminal offerse causing material loss, wounds up losses for student life themselves. Brawl behavior is one of the deviant behavior of adolescents or Juvenile Delinquency which car be increased to a crime a criminal offerse. This research uses kualitative method to analize the characteristics and factors that influence student brawls conflict also the implementation of community policing in problem of student brawls conflict by Polresta Yogyakarta toward. Bopkri 2 Senior High School and Muhammadiyah 1 Senior High School, The characteristics and factors which influence the student brawls conflict are seen froom mental side or student social psychology, students sociology and society environment or delinquency subculture also escalation conflict happened. The result of this research is Polresta Yogyakarta not yet fully implemented community policing in Senior High School who often have problems with student brawls, and given suggestion to Polresta Yogyakarta to implement community policing toward student brawls conflict with SARA method.
