ABSTRACTThe risk of accidents and health problems in crew fatigue has a huge impact if a crew made the
wrong decision to steer the ship or give orders to the other crew members. Various studies and
case reports prove fatigue on seafarers still a lot going on. This study analyzed the risk factors for
work-related fatigue and fatigue risk factors unrelated to the work crew a floating crane in the
operational area PT.X. To determine the fatigue of seafarers using the Subjective Seafarer
Fatigue Questionnaire. The case studies conducted in PT. X. This study used a cross-sectional
study design is used to determine the relationship between the dependent and independent
variables and studied simultaneously in one time. Researchers used a questionnaire instrument
and collect data on the entire crew a floating crane. From the research that the ship crew fatigue
at work, tiredness on the type of vessel floating crane conveyor is greater than non conveyor,
sleep quantity factor is the biggest factor has a chance of risk of fatigue. Conclusions on
research, work-related factors, namely the working time, sleep for a while no significant
relationship with fatigue. The length of time was in significant relation with fatigue. Factors
unrelated work such as quantity of sleep, smoking habits, exercise habits there is a significant
relationship with the risk of fatigue, sleep quality is not significant relationship with the risk of
fatigue.
