ABSTRAK
Aceh merupakan salah satu provinsi dengan tingkat rawan bencana yangsangat tinggi. Bencana tsunami 2004 silam telah menyebabkan hilangnya hutanpantai dan hutan mangrove di Provinsi Aceh. Hilangnya sumber daya ini memilikidampak langsung terhadap kelangsungan hidup dari para korban tsunami yangselamat serta dampak lanjutannya. dibutuhkan suatu program konservasi yangbersifat kontinu dan edukatif melalui ranah pendidikan, dalam hal ini penerapanpendidikan kearifan lokal berbasis mangrove. Penelitian ini dilakukan di KotaLhokseumawe, Pantai Timur Aceh. Sebaran hutan mangrove dan sebaran sekolahyang membentuk pola spasial yang berbeda-beda dan tersebar di wilayahadministrasi Kota Lhokseumawe menjadi acuan dalam penerapan pendidikankearifan lokal berbasis mangrove. Metode pengolahan data menggunakandeskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode statistik pearson product moment. Darijumlah keseluruhan sekolah tingkat menengah pertama di Kota Lhokseumaweyaitu sebanyak 41 Sekolah Negeri, Swasta dan Sekolah Agama, terdapat 31sekolah yang diprioritaskan untuk dilaksanakan pendidikan kearifan lokal berbasismangrove. Prioritas I sebanyak 18 sekolah, prioritas II sebanyak 10 sekolah danprioritas III sebanyak 3 sekolah dengan standar kompetensi pembelajaran yangberbeda satu sama lain

ABSTRACT
Aceh is one of the provinces with high level of hazard. Tsunami disasterin 2004 has caused the loss of coastal forests and mangroves in the Acehprovince. The loss of these resources has a direct impact on the survival victims ofthe tsunami and subsequent impact. it takes a conservation program that iscontinuous and educative through the education, in this case the application oflocal wisdom education of mangrove. This research was conducted inLhokseumawe city, Aceh East Coast. The distribution of mangrove forests and thespread of schools forming spatial patterns vary and spread in the administrativearea of Lhokseumawe become a reference in the application of local wisdomeducation of mangrove. Data processing method performed by descriptive andquantitative method by pearson product moment statistic method. Of the totalnumber of junior high schools in the city of Lhokseumawe as many as 41 PublicSchools, Private and Religious School, there are 31 schools with priority for localwisdom education implemented mangrove. Priority I as many as 18 schools, 10schools priority II and 3 school for priority with learning competency standardsthat differ from each other
