Budaya keselamatan (Safety Culture) di industri konstruksi suatu negara sangat berpengaruh kepada daya saing (Competitiveness) Negara tersebut. Fakta menunjukkan tingkat kecelakaan kerja pada proyek konstruksi di Indonesia sangat memprihatinkan. Di lain pihak memasuki era Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA) perusahaan kontraktor dituntut untuk meningkatkan daya saing di negeri sendiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder dari arsip dan kuesioner yang dianalisa menggunakan Metode SEM-PLS untuk pola hubungan antar dimensi budaya keselamatan kerja konstruksi untuk meningkatkan kinerja K3. Hasil penelitian yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa Biaya K3 menjadi sangat dominan mempengaruhi kinerja K3.

Safety Culture in the construction industry is very influential to the competitiveness. Facts show the accident rate on the construction project in Indonesia is very alarming. On the other hand entered the era of the Asean Economic Community, contractor is required to improve competitiveness in their own country. This study uses primary and secondary data from the archives and the questionnaires were analyzed using SEM-PLS method on the pattern of relationships between dimensions of safety culture construction to improve the Safety performance. Research results obtained show that the safety costs to be the most dominant influence on safety performance.
