ABSTRAKApotek merupakan salah satu sarana pelayanan kefarmasian tempat dilakukannya praktik kefarmasian oleh Apoteker. Dengan adanya perubahan orientasi yang semula hanya berfokus kepada pengelolaan Obat berkembang menjadi pelayanan komprehensif meliputi pengelolaan obat dan pelayanan farmasi klinik (Pharmaceutical Care) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien, maka apoteker perlu melakukan peningkatan kompetensi. Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) dilakukan Periode April 2016 di Apotek Kimia Farma No. 5 agar calon apoteker memiliki bekal pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang apotek yaitu dalam hal pelaksanaan pelayanan kefarmasian dan pengelolaan apotek. Melalui PKPA tersebut, diharapkan calon apoteker dapat meningkatkan wawasan, pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam melakukan pengelolaan sediaan farmasi dan pelayanan farmasi klinis di apotek.
