Suku Dinas Kesehatan Jakarta Timur is working units of Health Office of Jakarta to facilitate the duties and responsibilities in implementation of development, supervision, and control of health efforts in East Jakarta. Profession internship at Suku Dinas Kesehatan Jakarta Timur held on February 2th to 25th, 2016. The aim of profession internship to obtain work experience, knowledge, overview, and deeper understanding of the role, duties and responsibilities of pharmacists in government. Activities conducted during profession internship among other learning about distribution program and buffer medicine; recapitulation a monthly report about development, supervision, and control in drug store, Food of Household Industry (PIRT), business of micro and small traditional medicine; and recapitulation the amount of student who carry out the internship at the public health center in East Jakarta. Pharmacists in Suku Dinas Kesehatan Jakarta Timur has an important role in performing jobs such as development, supervision, and control, particularly Health Resources Section in pharmaceutical, food, and beverages.
