Tindakan unilateral versus kerjasama multirateral dalam politik internasional

([Publisher not identified] , [Date of publication not identified] )

 Abstract

This article attempts to reveal the implicatio of United States of America's unilateralism for United Nations and Indonesia as proponents of multilateralism. Unilateral actions conducted by the US both represent a pure one side act and also seen as a eflection of an ambivalent US foreign policy as well. Indonesia has potential in confronting such ambivalent actions in order to support multilateralism. The article also concludes that whatever the name of the actions, whether called as unilateral or multilateral will be considered relevant for Indonesia, as long as they meet two conditions. Firstly the actions do not contradict with Indonesia's independent and active foreign policy. Secondly and the most important thing, the actions should be in line with the interest of international society.
