Law No.8 of 1999 provides some legal institutions in consumer protection, but the position, authority, function, and task of such institutions have not been adequately described yet. Besides, there are many institutions play similar roles as regulated in other legislation. This condition can make confusion worse confounded. This article portrays several consumer-protection institutions in an existing map of their interactions and suggests that such relations should be administered in order to make them perform properly and synergistically.
