Penelitian ini membahas mengenai persepsi pemangku kepentingan Taman Bacaan Masyarakat TBM , yang terdiri dari pemilik, pengelola dan pengguna, terhadap TBM yang berlokasi di Depok. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi pemilik dalam mendirikan TBM, mengetahui persepsi pengelola dalam mengelola atau mengoperasikan TBM, serta mengetahui persepsi pengguna terhadap eksistensi TBM. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing pemilik memiliki jenis TBM yang berbeda-beda yang menimbulkan pengelolaan dan jenis pengguna yang berbeda. Setiap TBM bertahan dengan kekuatannya masing-masing. Rumah Pintar Bhara Cendekia I bertahan karena terikat dengan instansi POLRI yang masih mempertahankan TBM-nya, TBM Bina Kreasi bertahan karena PKBM Bina Kreasi masih terus berjalan, sementara TBM Alfabet bertahan karena kesadaran diri dan tekad yang kuat dari pemilik dan pengelola.

This research discusses about the perception of TBM 39 s stakeholders, which involve the owners, the keepers and the users, towards TBMs which are all located in Depok. The purposes of this research are to find out the owner 39 s perception in establishing TBM, the keeper 39 s perception in taking care or operating TBM, and the user 39 s perception towards TBM existence. This research is a qualitative research with a case study method.

The result of this research indicates that each owner has a different type of TBM, which leads to different management and different types of users from all three TBMs. Three TBMs could survive using their own powers. Rumah Pintar Bhara Cendekia I could survive since it 39 s tied to POLRI which still maintains its TBM, TBM Bina Kreasi would always exist as long as PKBM Bina Kreasi exists, and TBM Alfabet could still survive after all this time because of self awareness and strong determination that the owner and keeper have.
